This course is for anyone who considers themselves a complete beginner and would love to get started in the industry of bespoke wig making. 4 days jam packed full of info and practical learning - from where to buy equipment and hair to how to measure a clients head for a new bespoke wig. By the end of the 4 days you’ll be proficient in knotting and Whipping, be able to measure up a client for a wig as well as transfer your measurements to a wig block that you’ve padded out. In the class we’ll cover:

  5. Types of lace and when to use

  6. Basic single knotting 

  7. Cross Knotting and when to use

  8. Directional knotting 

  9. Reverse knotting and when to use

  11. Basic whipping how to create a dart

  12. Shaping the lace to fit the head 

  13. Re-fronting a store bought wig

  14. Head Wraps

  15. Taking measurements 

  16. Transferring measurements to block.

  17. Padding out a block.
